Happy Birthday to my fellow August 28th-er,
While I know your time in Wollongong is nowhere near an end I would just like to tell you that you have left a Texas shaped mark on Wollongong, and those you have met, that will remain always.
There may have been some early issues with the Aussie lingo, although you now seem to understand most of what we say, and your disdain at our use of beet root on hamburgers remains, but I am glad that didn't get in the way of you making the 'Gong your home.
I am grateful that life's journey brought you our way. I am grateful for the example you are of what it means to be a great wife, mother, friend and Latter Day Saint. I am grateful that I can call you friend.
Heather, as you celebrate 40 fabulous years, I have three wishes for you. First, I wish you to have the courage to live at least one more dream, fulfill one more wish and make one more person's life beautiful. Second, I wish that you have a day that you'll remember forever with a smile. And third, I wish that such days keep coming in every single day.
Love Kiri xx
