Here is mine.
I am one of the people who has known Heather the longest. Therefore I have many stories I can tell on her. Many of which would embarrass her. :)
Maybe I will share some of those later but first I want to share a special story. I was in high school so Heather would of been somewhere about 10ish. I'm sure I didn't realize it then but Heather idolized her older sister. We had our share of sisterly contentions but Heather wanted to spend as much time around me as possible. I didn't mind having her around. I took her all over even on my "dates" sometimes. One time I took her with my boyfriend to see fireworks at the football stadium. Heather HATED them!! She was scared to death. She didn't like the loudness of them, after trying to calm her down, not very successfully, we left.
Heather was also with me when I had my first car wreck, another time that terrified her. We weren't hurt but very scared especially Heather. I was most scared for her, she was crying hysterically! She was fine, just scared and worried about us. It was normal for Heather to run around with me, we were close. My birthday was coming up and Heather wanted to make me something special. She has always been very crafty even at a young age. She decided to make me a sweatshirt and she decorated this sweatshirt with everything that was ""Leah". There was a tennis racket and ball. There were nicknames for me on there as well, some I wasn't as fond of like "Boss Hog"That was Heather's favorite thing to call me when she was mad at me. It was the peak time for Dukes of Hazzard and she thought it fit me perfectly. There was also a hot dog and a bell and a lovely quote I made one time that I thought was true but I had only dreamed it. With all of this and more she completed my sweatshirt. It wasn't the prettiest thing but I loved it! I still love it today because I still have it and look at it often. It makes me smile as I remember some of the good times from our childhood. It's hard to believe Heather is now 40 especially since I'm still in my 30's.
Love you girl! Here's to 40+ more years together.
Thanks for putting this together!
Love ya!
